On 16th April, 2022, it was an honor for Aarya to be the special guest and youngest participant in ‘National Environment Youth Parliament 2022’ (NEYP2022), to deliver her 7 minute speech in the Parliament in front of Shri Om Birla (Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker). Academicians and Environmental Nodal Officers along with their Student Parliamentarians from more than 150+ Universities were selected from 10 regions across the country to participate in this event. NEYP 2022 was hosted by Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies( MRIIRS,) jointly organized by Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividi (PSG) and Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE) at the Parliament House, New Delhi.
Shri Om Birla (Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker), Parliament of India presided as the Chief Guest during Youth Parliament Session .Shri Bhupendra Yadav (Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, GoI) and Shri Savji Dholakia (Padma Shree Awardee) were the Guests of Honor. Aarya and Kautilya Pandit also joined the Parliamentary Sessions as Special Guests.

On 12th April in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Aarya was honored with prestigious ‘Champions of Change Award’ by Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan for her exemplary work in the field of social service.
The eminent jury was headed by Hon’ble Justice KG Balakrishnan (Former Chief Justice of India) and Hon’ble Justice Gyan Sudha Misra (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India) Prominent awardees were, Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan (Chief Minister of MP), Dr Aziz Qureshi (Former Governor of UP, Mizoram), Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushan, Smt. Teejan Bai, Smt.Malini Laxamsingh Gaur (Mayor of Indore), Divyanka Tripathi ( Telivision Actress), Shri Piyush Mishra (Indian film actor, Director) among other eminent awardees.
On 21st Nov, Aarya had the great honor of being the youngest awardee to receive ‘Sant Eshwer Samman 2021’ supported by Rastriya Seva Bharti. The awards were conferred by RSS Sarsanghchalak DR. Mohan Bhagwat and Shri Arjun Munda, Union Cabinet minister of tribal affairs in a ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Every year awardees are selected nationwide by the committee on the basis of exceptional social service and humanitarian work.
On 27th January Aarya was invited as Guest of Honor in the presence of Chief Guest, Hon’ble Union Minister of Environment, Govt of India, Shri Prakash Javadekar in Award Ceremony of National Environment Youth Forum 2021.Through her speech she shared her views from her book “Seeds of Hope” on climate change and urged fellow citizens to take steps towards sustainable living. 25000+ students from 350+ colleges and 75+ universities across India participated on this forum to raise awareness on saving our environment. In May 2019 it was the moment of great honor when 9 year old Aarya was invited to present her work on “Ahmedabad heritage” at UNESCO World headquarters, Paris. Along with her illustrations on Ahmedabad‘s tangible heritage, she presented the first copy of her book “Ahmedabad – my city my heritage” and narrated poems to Mr. Ernesto Ottone Ramirez, Assistant Director General Culture, UNESCO.
