UNESCO New Delhi 2024

In March 2024, Aarya had a great opportunity and an inspiring discussion with Mr. Tim Curtis, Director and Representative for UNESCO at the UNESCO New Delhi office. During the interaction Aarya presented her latest books “Magnificent Marvels”, on India’s World Heritage sites inscribed by UNESCO, and its sequel, “Intangible Legacies” written on India’s UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
While penning down her journey recorded in these books, Aarya realizes that, our culture is indeed our identity; it is time we realize that, when we stand united as one, we are stronger, than when we stand alone.
During the interaction, the Director emphasized on how the youth are the key to safeguard our cultural heritage.
